MALAI KOFTA



In frame is Malai means cream and kofta are fried balls.
So malai kofta literally translates to koftas dunked in a creamy sauce.
It is a popular Indian vegetarian dish in which potato paneer balls are served with a delicious, smooth, rich & creamy gravy.


INGREDIENTS:


  • Any refined oil

  • 1 tablespoon garam masala, kashmiri chilli powder, dhaniya powder,turmeric powder, salt

  • paneer, potato ,cilantro/dhaniya leaves,tomato & onion paste

  • breadcrumb

  • 1 cup curd

  • 1/4 spoon sugar


  • STEPS ONE CAN FOLLOW(if needed) :


  • First take the mashed potato and add paneer bhurji in it and make like a oval shaped parcel and coat it with bread crumbs.

  • Then deep fry it in oil and keep it aside, start with gravy praparation

  • Take a pan and add oil and after it heats add ginger & garlic paste and then onion paste and cook until golden brown

  • Then add tomato puree and 1/2 spoon sugar,cook a little , then add masalas and cook well

  • Then add curd and stir well and cook for more 5 minutes

  • Then at the end put the kofta balls in and serve with garnishing some cilantro leaves on top
